The music ministries of First Baptist exist to enhance the worship of God, inspire participation in worship, teach Biblical truths through song, fellowship with other believers, and reach out to our community.

There is a place for every member of your family in the music ministry of First Baptist Church.

The Sanctuary Choir - Wednesdays at 7:00 (Choir Room)
The Sanctuary Choir is the primary performing ensemble for the church.  Each week the choir provides a choral anthem in the morning worship service, along with seasonal programs at Christmas and Easter.  We have regular socials and take occasional trips.  All ages and abilities are welcome, no auditions.  Music reading not required.

FBC Singin' @ the Oaks- First Tuesday at 2:00 (The Oaks/Welcome Foyer)
All are invited to join with us as we sing and fellowship with the residents at the Oaks and Welcome care facilities.  We meet at 2:00 PM on the first Tuesday of each month to sing some old favorites and fellowship with the folks there.  Come and be a part of this wonderful time of song and outreach.

Youth Worship Team
The Youth Worship Team is group of  students who enjoy music and are committed to leading their peers in worshipping God with their gifts.  They lead the musical worship each Wednesday for our youth group and periodically during the Sunday morning corporate worship service.  If you are interested in being a part of the group, let Ben know.

Audio/Video and TV Ministries
If you have expertise in these areas, or would like to learn, contact Josh and we will be able to plug you in!

Instrumentals
We have a variety of people who play instruments during Sunday morning worship: brass, woodwinds, guitar, keyboards, and percussion.  If you are interested and would be willing to play, please let the church office or Josh know.

Solos and Groups
We often have individuals who wish to sing solos or put together a small group of friends or family members to sing a special.  If you'd like to sing or play, let church office or Josh know.

Drama Team
There are occasions where we like to do skits for morning worship along with large-scale plays and seasonal programs.  If you are interested in drama or for more information, contact the church office.
